I’ve been making music with electronics since 1979, when I bought an ARP Odyssey and quickly wound up in a band. That band was Tiny Desk Unit. After years of making music with the multi-media theater group Impossible Theatre, I continued to make music independently, using computers to expand my imagination and make up for my mediocre guitar/keyboard skills. My past seven albums have been more ambient affairs, two of them cover albums. My louder side is what I do with my friends in Danger Painters, friends I’ve known for 40 years, including my Tiny Desk Unit bandmate Michael Barron.
